Catalyst is proud to announce our involvement in the launch of a vital new resource for the community: the Alliance for Inclusive Health Provider Portal. This groundbreaking initiative, developed in close partnership with our long-time clients Special Olympics Washington (SOWA) and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH), directly addresses significant healthcare barriers faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
For tens of thousands of Washingtonians in the IDD community, finding qualified and equitable healthcare has long been a challenge. The new portal is a transformative solution, creating a direct bridge between patients, families, and a growing database of certified healthcare professionals who have been specifically trained to provide the high-quality, dignified care they deserve.
This initiative is a powerful example of the mission-driven work we are privileged to support. As a long-standing partner to Special Olympics Washington, our team was deeply integrated into the project from the very beginning. We were honored to help shape the project’s identity, design and build the portal website, and develop the strategy to raise awareness among athletes and medical professionals across the state.
This was more than just a web development project; it was a complex undertaking to build a scalable, secure, and easy-to-use platform that serves a critical community need. It required a thoughtful, enterprise-level approach to ensure the portal could successfully connect thousands of users with the right providers, filtering by location, practice area, and other specific needs.
We are immensely appreciative of the chance to contribute to a project that will so significantly impact the lives of Washingtonians with IDD. We believe in using our expertise to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment, and we are thrilled to stand with SOWA and VMFH in celebrating this major milestone.
