During this project Catalyst worked to develop a series of short recipe videos for a well-known contract food packing company, highlighting the quality and versatility of its products.
Start Your Project TodayFood manufacturing and packing companies need to drive demand for their products with grocery, government, and nonprofit entities in the US and beyond. In a B2B environment, that requires the curation of high-quality visual collateral that aligns the company’s products with its buyer’s target audience.
Crider foods wanted to develop a series of six recipe videos that it could feature at various industry conferences, its website, and on consumer-facing channels like social media. Doing it meant working through a detailed production process that tied multiple stakeholders together around a common vision.
We acted as the lead PM for the project, aligning the Client’s internal and third-party stakeholders around a creative brief and project plan. As part of this process, our team made creative decisions that would affect the style and tone of the video as well as created all of the pre-production documentation, including shot lists, prop list, production schedule, etc.
Once the into production our team worked with the studio to capture the full contents of the shot list and get the raw 8k footage back to our team for post-production editing. Our team created motion graphics bumpers and edited the content into various sizes needed for B2B functions and more consumer focused use cases like vertical video on social media.
We delivered six commercial-grade videos showing the company’s canned chicken products being used to create delicious meals for the whole family. Each video would be played at the company’s various tradeshows and converted for use on its website, social media channels, email, and other places.
Because of this project, Crider has been able to help reposition canned chicken as a high quality ingredient appropriate for a wide range of conditions. The videos presented a fun, contemporary, and tactile way that the company’s products fit into consumer’s everyday lives.
