What type of consulting do you offer?

As with the rest of our integrated solution, Catalyst’s consulting partnerships tend to focus on marketing operations. Unlike other models in our solution, our interest at this stage of the relationship is the evolution of your marketing team into a self-sustaining marketing department. Our work may include optimizing your org chart, operational analysis, and project management strategies based on qualitative and quantitative troubleshooting.

How do I know if I need consulting support?

We don’t generally offer consulting as a standalone service, preferring to focus on clients already within our ecosystem that may be facing a transition to a larger objective. Because of that, consulting tends not to be based on preventing and quickly resolving known organizational pain points in the growth process for existing clients rather than growth-focus organizations at large who tend to focus on an array of challenges, from including ineffective or disorganized messaging, slow go-to-market, high advertising costs, etc.

Do you perform digital transformation consulting?

Digital transformation is a large project for any organization and far exceeds the typical scope of marketing. We don’t perform digital transformation consulting, but we frequently advise on marketing decisions related to implementation. They can range from advising the technology stack to journey mapping to communications strategy.

How do you charge for consulting?

Consulting services are charged based on an ongoing monthly retainer lasting no less than one year. Retainer rates may vary depending on the expertise required for the type and complexity of your vertical and challenges commonly faced there.

How does consulting work?

You will work directly with a Catalyst Marketing Agency strategist who you may assign specific tasks to on an “as-needed” basis. The consulting strategist may communicate and re-assign tasks to other members of our team for analysis and resolution, but they will work directly with you to resolve all open requests. Outside of this basic framework, consulting services are designed to be highly flexible and are generally up to you. We’ll make suggestions based on our observations, but our main purpose is to help you continue developing your marketing capabilities.

Do you work with clients beyond the consulting phase?

You are not obliged to use our services after our journey ends, but in order to retain intellectual marketing capital, many do. Once the consulting phase ends, we provide tactically-based campaign support and consulting to clients on a ‘on-demand’ basis - much like other hub-and-spoke agencies.
